Your 14-day right of withdrawal (EU)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you (or someone you designate) receive your order, without giving any reason. Email captain@piratetea.com with your name and order number, or use the model withdrawal form on our Shipping & Returns page. We confirm every withdrawal request by email without delay.

Exceptions

For reasons of health protection and hygiene, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed food products, including our tea, once the seal has been opened. Unopened products in their original sealed packaging are always eligible. Products made to your personal specifications cannot be withdrawn. Gift cards are non-refundable.

Refunds

We refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your withdrawal, to your original payment method, at no fee to you. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied proof of having sent them, whichever comes first.

Returning the goods

Send returns within 14 days of your withdrawal notice. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Products should be unused, unopened and in their original packaging. The return address is in your confirmation email, or on request via captain@piratetea.com.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, email captain@piratetea.com with a photo and your order number. We will replace or refund it at our cost. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights, including the EU legal guarantee of conformity.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange is to withdraw from your order and place a new one. Or email us and we will arrange it personally.

Customers outside the EU

We extend the same 14-day return policy worldwide. The same exceptions apply. Return shipping and any customs charges are at your cost.
